1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using locava.in, locava.bar, locava.cafe, locava.fit, locava.restaurant, locava.store, or any related Locava platform (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, business owners, and any other users.
2. The Locava Platform network
Locava operates a network of hyperlocal business discovery platforms across India. Each vertical is a separate domain with its own audience but shares common infrastructure, pricing, and policies:
Locava is a discovery and connection platform only. We are not a booking engine, payment processor, or party to any transaction between a customer and a venue. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, accuracy, or safety of any listed venue, deal, or service.
3. Business owner obligations
If you list your business on any Locava vertical, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and current information about your business
- Ensure your listed deals and offers are genuine and honoured when a customer presents them
- Keep your SPOC contact details current and respond to WhatsApp messages promptly
- Not post misleading, offensive, or illegal content on any Locava platform
- Comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations relevant to your category (e.g. FSSAI and excise regulations for food & beverage; fitness regulations for gyms; retail licensing for stores)
- Notify us if your business closes or changes ownership so your listing can be updated or removed
4. Subscriptions, plans, and payments
The following plan structures apply across all Locava verticals. Specific pricing is set per vertical and may differ from the examples below. Refer to the pricing page of the relevant vertical for current rates.

An "update" is defined as any change to microsite content including text, photos, deals, hours, or contact details, submitted via email to listyoursite@locava.in. Unused annual updates do not carry over to the next subscription year.
- Free Trial: 3 months free on any monthly plan. No credit card required during trial. After the trial, converts to paid unless cancelled.
- Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time. No refunds for partial months.
- Annual plans are billed once per year. No refunds once the microsite has been created, except where Locava is unable to deliver the service.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
5. Annual plan update policy
For subscribers on annual plans, the number of permitted content updates per year is fixed as specified above. Updates must be requested by email to listyoursite@locava.in with clear, specific instructions. We aim to publish approved updates within 48 hours on business days. Unused updates expire at the end of each subscription year and do not carry forward.
Note: Annual plans with limited updates are not recommended for bars and nightlife venues, as deal and event content changes frequently. Monthly plans are recommended for that vertical.
6. Prohibited uses
You must not use any Locava platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory information about any business or person
- List a business you do not own or have authority to represent
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content for commercial purposes without written permission
- Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform
- Spam customers or other users via contact information found on the Platform
- Violate any applicable Indian law, including laws governing alcohol, food safety, or fitness services
7. Intellectual property
The Locava name, logos, and Platform designs are our intellectual property. Business owners retain ownership of the content they provide (photos, descriptions, etc.) but grant Locava a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Platform for the duration of the subscription.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings are accurate, complete, or current. We are not responsible for the actions, products, services, or content of any listed business.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Locava shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to any business owner shall not exceed the amount paid by them to Locava in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any listing or account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. You may terminate your subscription at any time by contacting listyoursite@locava.in. Upon termination, your microsite will be taken offline within 30 days.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Haryana, India.
